Anna Spinner

IMG_7667Anna covers the Greenpoint beat and lives in neighboring Williamsburg.  She is drawn to stories about strong characters and unexpected events.  New York’s diversity and unpredictability inspire her, and she is looking forward to writing about what she finds here for years to come.  Some of her favorite writers are Joan Didion, Gay Talese and E.B. White.  Spinner works as a senior writer/researcher in communications at Columbia University.
