Breaking News: Violent Clashes in East Jerusalem

JERUSALEM — Protests spread across East Jerusalem and the West Bank this week following the announcement of Jewish settlement expansion at Ramat Shlomo and the re-dedication of a synagogue in the Old City. While some clashes grew violent, others used prayer and song to express anger nonviolently.
